I know I had publishers pulling for me on the book, and a team of artists ready to work on it. And of course I had, somewhere out there, plenty of caring and devoted fans. For years I’ve felt sorry for letting them down. And of course, all the Buffalo Wings characters themselves, with their stories suspended indefinitely.

But a graphic novel is not a project to be taken lightly, and a guilty obligation isn’t the best motivating factor for creativity. At some point I have to make the decision that this project is, sadly, too long in the tooth and needs to be abandoned.

I do have other projects I want to get to, hopefully in the near future. If you’ve been a fan, I hope you’ll give those a chance as the come out (you can always check my web site to see what I’m working on). And I thank you, sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, for being a reader over the years.
